Gilbane Building Company has been awarded demolition of a partially abandoned building that was previously a police station along with ground up construction of a 263-space urban parking deck complete with elevators, egress stairwells, emergency generators and fire pump. The project will include approximately 7,000 square feet of retail shell space along 7th street. Improvements to 7th Street are also part of the project.
